Debbie Cherry, Owner and Interior Designer

Debbie has maintained a residential and commercial interior practice for more than 30 years. Her innate ability to mix a multitude of fabrics, textures, colors and styles has brought her a fast and loyal following. Projects have varied from condominiums in Horseshoe Bay Resort on Lake LBJ to multi-million dollar homes all over Texas. Debbie is a graduate of Texas Women’s University, a professional member of ASID and Texas Registered Interior Designer #646.
Debbie Farr, Owner and Interior Designer
Debbie is a graduate of Southwestern Texas State University with a degree in Interior Design. She has extensive knowledge and expertise in both art history and furniture design. Over the years, Debbie has developed her own special style for the use of lavish fabrics and color to create unique environments for her clients. She takes a great deal of pride in her profession with a focus on bringing joy to each project as well as complete satisfaction to every client.
Warehouse Manager and Delivery. Joe located to the Texas Hill Country from Florida. He is in charge of merchandise receiving, inspection, pricing, inventory location, and delivering special orders to the clients. “Swanky Man”, as we fondly like to call him, has become very popular with all the clients. He is fun, jovial, full of personality, but most important, he cares about our clients. He is both dedicated and reliable. Being the only man on staff, he also has to be able to hold his own surrounded by women.
Design Librarian and Sales Staff. Debbie and her husband live in Horseshoe Bay. She comes to Swanky with a varied background and an astute knowledge of our Texas Hill Country area. She works hard to keep up with the messes that the design staff creates. She updates fabrics, keeps pricing from all our lines current, and tries to keep Swanky organized. In addition, she assists in inventory control and the assisting of clients on the sales floor. Debbie is great at making you smile, and is tireless at helping you solve your design problems finding merchandise in the store.
Office Manger & Bookkeeper. Debi has a lifetime of computer skills in her history. She is quite accomplished and accurate in her bookkeeping duties, and can always solve the “what’s my balance?” question to clients. Her responsibilities evolve primarily in keeping the finances of Swanky and its Clients up to date and balanced. But she also assists on the sales floor, and is involved in inventory control. She loves her beach vacations & get aways, to rewind before heading back to the Hill Country.
Barbara joined our sales staff with a world of knowledge in many design categories. Whether its carpet, tile, paint, tile, or design, she has proven to be a great Assistant to our Swanky Design Team. Her joyous manor, and sincere effort to help each and every client, has been a tremendous asset to our staff. Barbara has worked and lived in the Marble Falls/Kingsland area for over 25 years. Originally from California, she became a quick Texan. Gardening, gourmet cooking, and design are her favorite passions. We are lucky to have her great smile and easy demeanor.
Abby & Lucy:
Abby & Lucy are Bichon Frise. They love coming to work with owner Debbie Cherry. Both were raised in the shop since they were puppies. They love our clients, and they love them. You will find both just about anywhere in the store. From the top of Debbie’s desk, to the front counter where clients check out, they are never too far from Debbie.
Gracie is a Shiatsu. She loves coming to work with owner Debbie Farr. Gracie, too, has been raised in the store. She will normally be the first one to greet you at the store, and will also be the last to see you out. If you act like you want to play, be ready to throw the ball for a while. She loves children, and many of our clients come by just to see Gracie.
