Started in the Texas Hill Country in 2005. Designers and owners Debbie Cherry & Debbie Farr, teamed up to bring their unique talents together. Between the 2 of them, there is a combined 45+ years of experience. Primarily in the Residential Design, but also loving the Commercial side of design as well. Living in the Texas Hill Country, and the Resort Area of Lake LBJ, One Swanky Shops clientele brings vast experiences, tastes, and experiences from all over the world. Our clients have grown to expect us to be at the top of our game, and knowledgeable of all things beautiful. We strive every day to exceed their expectations but to also have fun in the process.
Debbie Cherry
ASID, LICENSED interior designer
Graduated with a BS degree from Texas Women’s University. Always having been a creative type, she loves bringing together a unique design concept that belongs only to that client. A home that inspires them, and makes them smile every time they walk into their home. "For over 30 years, I have loved working with a client in the creative process – the give & take, the style & vision, the mood they want to create... … and it all has led to a design career that fulfills my heart and soul. I love what I do. Every client and every project is always different. Something that I never found in other lines of work." She has a tremendous following all over the state of Texas, from West Texas to Dallas, Houston, and beyond.
Debbie Farr Preece
Designer
Graduated with a BA degree, in Interior Design, from Southwest Texas University in San Marcus. She is intensely creative and highly motivated to good design. These traits have built her a loyal clientele over the last 15 years who value her transparency and the ease she brings to the design process. She has an inspired style and an elevated aesthetic that fuses a freshly modern twist on timeless and classic styles. Her fun personality and design approach, makes all her clients fast and forever friends.
Beverly McKinney
Designer
Beverly comes to Swanky with over 30 years of design experience, where she developed her unique style & expertise with her high-end residential and commercial clients in the Midland/Odessa TX areas. Never one to be afraid of challenges, she approaches all her projects with humor, fun, and lots of inspiration. Her contagious personality, and inspired design projects, not only reflect her client’s personality, but also her giving spirit. She appreciates clients’ antiques and items full of history & attachment. "There is a home for everything, as long as it has lots of style!"
Monja Caughron
Design Assistant & Showroom Designer
Monja has worked with One Swanky Shop in numerous positions throughout her career. She is enormously creative and detail-oriented. From floral arranging to making the store look close to perfect every day, she has become an integral part of our Swanky Design Team.
